It features an adjustable earloop split - wire security kit that can be used for either the left or right ear. If you order the BodyGuard Quick - Disconnect (BodyGuard - QD) earpiece, you'll need a separately - sold Quick - Disconnect adapter. It comes with a PTT button/Microphone combo and a steel clothing clip, and the SMEP7 option is available. It's compatible with a wide range of EF Johnson and Motorola radio models, including EF Johnson's 51SL, 5000, 5100, 7700 Series, VP600, 900 and Motorola's GP900, 9000, HT1000, JT1000, MT1500, MT2000, MTS2000, MTX8000, 838, 900, 9000, PR1500, MTX - LS, XTS1500, XTS2500, XTS3000/Astro, XTS3500, 5000.

Using this earpiece is easy. First, adjust the earloop to fit your left or right ear comfortably. Clip the steel clothing clip to your clothes for stability. Connect the earpiece to your Motorola or EF Johnson radio according to the model's requirements. If you have the BodyGuard Quick - Disconnect earpiece, make sure to attach the separately - sold Quick - Disconnect adapter properly. When using, keep the PTT button close for easy access. For maintenance, gently clean the earpiece with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid getting it wet or exposing it to extreme temperatures. Check the connections regularly to ensure a good signal. Also, if you're using the SMEP7 option, follow its specific usage guidelines.
