If you haven't heard Peter Moss play the ukulele, you're missing out! That's why we joined forces with him to create this special ukulele. It captures Peter's playing style - sophisticated, precise, warm, and unique. As a long - time player of our Flight Spirit Concert model, Peter wanted to keep some great features like the scalloped cutaway, offset fret markers, active pickup, and our famous Flight signature headstock. He combined these with a classic wood combo of spruce and mahogany that you won't find on other Flight ukuleles. This mix brings the brightness and projection of spruce and the warmth and roundness of mahogany for a perfectly balanced sound. The moonburst stain gives it a really cool look. It's an old - style classic with a modern edge.
We paired a solid African Mahogany body with a solid Spruce top. Mahogany has a warm, resonant sound and a long history in ukulele - making. The spruce top adds brightness and projection, resulting in a balanced, responsive ukulele that sounds like a bell.
The spruce can look plain, so we added a dark 'moonburst' stain, a black - and - white version of a sunburst, for a classic - modern look.
The pearloid rosette, position markers, and white binding add a touch of luxury. The offset fret markers are easy to see when playing, and side position markers make it even more convenient.
Like many of our 2020 - onwards Royal Series, it has a beautiful chocolatey Rosewood fingerboard and bridge. Rosewood adds warmth to the sound and reduces harsh high frequencies.
The scalloped cutaway, popular in other models, allows easy high - fret playing without sacrificing volume and tone. It shows off our luthiers' craftsmanship.
The string - through bridge, a current ukulele trend, makes the top resonate better as strings attach through the soundboard. Changing strings is easier than it seems; check our YouTube for a tutorial.
Worth Brown strings are a perfect match for this ukulele, offering precise clarity and balanced warmth.
The Double C1U active pickup controls are under the sound hole, no need for a side cavity. It's easy to use and sounds great.
Our famous signature headstock is bold and light. Its round shape looks amazing and will turn heads.
All Royal series ukuleles come with a luxury red gig bag with purple infusion and 20mm padding for great protection.

Using Your Flight Peter Moss Signature Concert Ukulele
To play this ukulele, first, make sure you're sitting or standing comfortably. Hold the ukulele with the neck in your left hand (if you're right - handed; reverse if you're left - handed). Place your fingers on the frets according to the chords you want to play. The offset position markers will help you find the right frets easily.
When it comes to tuning, use a ukulele tuner. You can also use the controls of the Double C1U active pickup if you're connecting it to an amplifier. The pickup controls are under the sound hole, so they're easy to reach.
Changing the strings might seem a bit tricky at first, but it's not too hard. Just go to our YouTube channel for a step - by - step tutorial. The string - through bridge design makes the top resonate better, but you need to thread the strings through the soundboard correctly.
Maintenance Tips
Keep your ukulele in a dry place. Avoid leaving it in direct sunlight or in a very humid environment, as this can damage the wood. After playing, wipe it down with a soft cloth to remove any sweat or dirt.
The gig bag that comes with it has 20mm padding, so always store your ukulele in the bag when you're not using it. This will protect it from bumps and scratches.
If you notice any issues with the frets, strings, or the body, don't try to fix it yourself. Contact our customer service for professional advice.
