Using the M - Audio Oxygen 61 MKV is a straightforward process. First, connect it to your computer via the provided USB cable. Then, select your preferred DAW on the keyboard and configure the DAW's settings to match the keyboard. You're now ready to start creating music.
For the Note Repeat feature, you can choose between Momentary and Latch modes. In Momentary mode, hold the Note Repeat button while pressing a pad to make the note repeat. In Latch mode, pressing a pad once will make its assigned note repeat without holding the button.
The Arpeggiator can be activated easily. Set the Type, Octave, Gate, and Swing controls according to your needs. It can work in either Latch or Momentary mode to help you add rhythm to your music.
With Smart Chord, you can play full chords with a single key press. Customize the chord structure in Custom Mode by manually playing the chord you want. The Smart Scale feature lets you select a scale from over 15 variations, ensuring you play only the right notes.
When using the assignable knobs and faders, simply turn or move them to control virtual instruments and mix your productions.
