There are 8 super - sensitive pads with pressure, allowing you to trigger up to 6 notes from one key or pad. The note repeat feature is an inspiring tool with real - time control of trigger rate, accent, swing, and gate, and separate settings for keys and pads. You can switch it on/off at any time with dedicated buttons and sync it to an external clock. The Nektarine feature gives you instant access to Nektar plugin control in any VST/VST3/AU DAW. You can customize mapping or create plugin maps from scratch, browse patches directly from the Panorama T4, and layer up to 8 VST/VST3/AU plugins with mix control. It comes with Nektar DAW integration for popular DAWs like Bitwig, Cubase, GarageBand, Logic, Nuendo, Reason, Reaper, and Studio One, and is MCU compatible for other MIDI music software. Using the Nektar Panorama T4 is easy. First, connect it to your computer via the USB port on the rear panel. It's USB bus - powered, so no extra power source is needed. If you're using it with a DAW, make sure it meets the system requirements. For example, for Nektar DAW Integration, you need Windows Vista or higher on Windows and Mac OS X 10.7 or higher on Mac. Once connected, you can start using it right away as it's USB class compliant and doesn't need a driver. To control instrument plugins, you can either use the included maps or create your own in the Nektarine feature. Just load the patches directly from the keyboard, and you'll see the changes on the LED display. When using the note repeat function, you can adjust the trigger rate, accent, swing, and gate in real - time. You can also switch it on or off using the dedicated repeat buttons. For the pads, you can assign notes and MIDI cc messages. You can even save and load different pad maps. Remember, when using the foot switch or expression pedal, make sure they're properly connected as they're MIDI assignable. As for maintenance, keep the keyboard clean. You can use a soft, dry cloth to wipe it down. Avoid using harsh chemicals as they might damage the display or the keys. If you need to update the firmware on Windows or Mac OSX, follow the instructions provided by Nektar. However, note that the firmware can't be updated on Linux.
