Product Detail

The Sarabec LA240 Room Loop System offers a practical solution for hearing aid users. It enables them to effortlessly listen to TV or audio equipment through the 'T' or 'Loop' program of their hearing aids. Without a direct connection between the user and the equipment, users can move freely within the looped area and enjoy clear sound without distractions. This loop system works with hearing aids having a 'T' or 'Loop' program, commonly found in 'behind the ear' or 'in the ear' models. It captures sound from a TV via a direct connection or microphone, sends it to the amplifier, and then to a wire loop around the listening area. The sound is inductively transmitted as'magnetic sound waves' to compatible hearing aids. Users can adjust the loop volume and tone to suit their preferences without disturbing others. It comes with either a Loop Cable or Loop Pad. Key features include optical and coaxial digital audio input, a separate mains power supply for 12 - 24V DC inputs, control settings memorization for remote power switching, digital rotary volume and tone controls with LED indication, source selection from the front panel, increased output current of 3A RMS, 40m loop cable coverage up to 70m2, loop level indicator, priority function control, automatic gain control, on/off mains switch, blue and red LED indicators, 2 microphone inputs, and 3 line inputs. Technical specifications cover power supply options (18V 1.5A and 12 - 24V DC 2A), various controls, input and output connections, loop output details, loop cable specifications, and LED indicators.

Using the Sarabec LA240 Room Loop System is easy. First, connect the system to your TV or audio equipment using the appropriate input connection, like digital audio TOSlink/Coaxial or one of the microphone or line inputs. Make sure the power supply is correctly set up, either with the 18V 1.5A power supply or the 12 - 24V DC 2A external supply. If you're using a hearing aid with a 'T' or 'Loop' program, turn it on and switch to that program. You'll start receiving the sound from the loop system. You can adjust the volume and tone using the rotary controls to make the sound just right for you. When it comes to the loop cable or loop pad, connect it to the push - grip connectors labeled 'Loop Cable'. Ensure the loop resistance is between 0.5 and 1.5 Ohms for full output. If you want to use headphones, connect them to the 3.5mm stereo jack. Remember, keep the system in a dry and clean place. Avoid exposing it to extreme temperatures or moisture. Check the connections regularly to make sure they're secure. If you have any problems, refer to the user manual or contact customer support.
