The DC Drive is the first in the series, boasting a killer overdrive sound. Just like Carl, this pedal has some hidden gems. Along with the standard Level, Tone, and Drive knobs to control signal volume, tone, and overdrive amount, Carl added a unique Regular/Fat switch. In Regular mode, the drive is sharp and clear, perfect for old - school drive needs. Switch to Fat mode, and you'll get a thicker drive with more gain, a very modern sound. You can power this pedal with a regulated power supply such as the Carl Martin ProPower V2.
Using the Carl Martin DC - Drive Guitar Pedal is easy. First, connect your guitar to the input of the pedal and then connect the pedal's output to your amplifier. You can control the volume of the signal with the Level knob, adjust the tone with the Tone knob, and set the amount of overdrive using the Drive knob. The Regular/Fat switch gives you two different drive sounds. Use Regular mode when you want a clear, old - school drive, and switch to Fat mode for a more modern, thick drive.
