The Carl Martin Comp/Limiter Pedal (2018 version) is an amazing guitar dynamics processor. We think it's the most musically useful one on the market. Developed at the request of working musicians, it's a user - friendly and versatile compressor/limiter that takes up little space on your pedal board. This small, handy pedal with an anodized finish is designed for a smaller footprint. To keep things simple and user - friendly, the Threshold and Response settings are factory - fixed, leaving just two knobs: Comp and Level. It has the same great features, sonic clarity, quietness, and performance as top - notch studio compressor/limiters. It also features a special CM - developed DC/DC converter circuitry. With this, it can run internally at + - 12V using a regular 9V DC 200mA external power supply, maintaining the same sonic quality and headroom as the 'old' Compressor/Limiter.

Using the Carl Martin Comp/Limiter Pedal is a breeze. First, connect it to your guitar and amp using the appropriate cables. Then, plug in the 9V DC 200mA external power supply. You'll notice there are only two knobs: Comp and Level. The Comp knob adjusts the compression amount. Turning it clockwise increases the compression, which can make your guitar sound more sustained and even. The Level knob controls the output volume of the pedal. Adjust it to match the volume of your other effects or your amp. As for notes, make sure the power supply is properly connected. Don't expose the pedal to extreme temperatures or moisture. To maintain it, clean the pedal's surface gently with a dry cloth. If you're not using it for a long time, store it in a safe and dry place.
