Using the Williams AV IR SY6 Portable Infrared Courtroom System is a breeze. First, find a suitable location in the courtroom to mount the IR T2 transmitter. You can use the BKT 024 omnidirectional mount to attach it to the wall or ceiling. Then, connect the power supply to the transmitter. Make sure it's plugged into a proper electrical outlet with the right voltage. Next, connect the audio sources, like microphones or other devices, to the audio inputs on the transmitter. You can use the Phoenix style connector jack for line - level audio. For the receivers, insert the appropriate batteries, either alkaline or NiMH. Then, adjust the channel selector on the receiver to match the frequency of the transmitter. You can also control the volume using the ON/OFF/VOLUME thumbwheel knob. When using the microphone, ensure it's properly connected to the transmitter. You can adjust the microphone gain and select the channel it goes to. As for the earphones or headphones, just plug them into the 3.5 mm stereo mini phone jack on the receiver. Now, here are some important notes. Keep the system within the operating temperature range of 32 - 122F (0 - 50C). Don't expose it to extreme heat or cold. If there's no audio for 12 minutes, the transmitter will enter sleep mode to save power. For maintenance, clean the devices regularly with a soft, dry cloth. Check the batteries regularly and replace them when needed. Also, make sure the connections are tight and free from dust or debris. If you have any problems, refer to the warranty information. The transmitter and most parts have a 5 - year warranty, while some accessories have a 90 - day warranty.
