Product Detail

The Sonifex AVN-TB10AR is an advanced talkback intercom unit based on IP audio technology. It comes with a comprehensive set of features, making it suitable for a wide range of applications. With both 4-wire analogue inputs/outputs and AoIP network audio connectivity, it can integrate seamlessly with existing 4-wire systems and new AES67 AoIP networked audio infrastructure. All audio is delivered at a 48kHz sample rate, ensuring broadcast-quality sound. Key features include 10 illuminated key-cap talk buttons along with listen and page buttons, mic and headset inputs, headphone and speaker outputs with volume control. It supports various audio sources from AoIP, balanced, 2 x unbalanced or S/PDIF digital inputs, and can send audio to AoIP or rear panel balanced and unbalanced outputs. Advanced echo cancellation and mic AGC prevent acoustic feedback. It also has dual 1Gb lan ports, 1Gb SFP fibre port, 10 user assignable GPIO ports, dual AC and DC power supply inputs, a front panel display for source and destination information, Ethernet webserver and front panel control and configuration, speaker and microphone mute buttons, and a callback button with source display.

Using the Sonifex AVN - TB10AR is quite straightforward. First, connect it to your existing audio system or network. You can use the 4 - wire analogue inputs/outputs for legacy systems or the AoIP network audio connectivity for new AES67 infrastructure. For audio input, you can plug in your microphone or headset into the corresponding ports. Adjust the volume of the headphone or speaker outputs using the volume control buttons. When using the talk buttons, the illuminated key - caps make it easy to see which one you're pressing. Make sure to keep the device in a well - ventilated area as it can generate some heat during operation. Avoid exposing it to extreme temperatures or humidity. For maintenance, periodically check the connections to ensure they are secure. If there are any issues with audio quality, check the audio settings on the front panel display or through the Ethernet webserver. The dual power supply inputs provide a backup in case one power source fails, but it's still a good idea to have a stable power supply. Clean the device with a soft, dry cloth to keep it in good condition.
