Product Detail
The NUX Voodoo Vibe Mini Uni-vibe Guitar Effects Pedal (NCH - 3) is a compact yet powerful pedal with two distinct modes: Vibe and Chorus. You can easily switch between these modes by pressing and holding the footswitch. Inspired by the Dunlop Uni - Vibe, it offers a gorgeous sound reminiscent of Jimi Hendrix's 70s stage performances. Thanks to NUX's modern - tech DSP, it combines the best of analog and digital worlds. Unlike the original, it runs on 9V instead of 18V. The Smart Tap Tempo function in this mini pedal is a great addition. In the digital realm, it enhances the Chorus mode without volume drop issues while still maintaining a good analog - like vibe. First, adjust the Intensity knob. In Chorus mode, it controls the depth of the sweeping effect, and in Vibrato mode, it changes the pitch modulation degree. Then, adjust the Speed knob. Lower settings produce slow sweep effects, and higher settings create a rapid, shimmery pulse. This mini pedal supports Stereo input and output (use a 1/4” TRS cable and select Stereo mode). It also has a USB - C port for occasional firmware updates. Just connect the USB cable to a PC, hold the footswitch to boot - up, and enter the DFU mode to update the firmware. Key features include two models in a small enclosure, Smart Tap Tempo, True - bypass or Buffer - bypass (Tails), Stereo I/O support, low power consumption (less than 100mA), and an analog dry signal for low noise and zero latency. Technical specifications: Input Impedance is 1M ohms, Output Impedance is 10k ohms, Dynamic Range is 103 dB, DSP Processing is 48KHz / 32 - bit, A/D D/A Sampling Rate is 48KHz / 24 - bit, it runs on 9V DC (Negative tip, Optional ACD - 006A adapter), Current Draw is less than 100mA, Dimensions are 94(L)X51(W)X53(H)mm, and Weight is 175g.
Using the NUX Voodoo Vibe Mini Guitar Effects Pedal is easy. First, decide whether you want to use the Vibe or Chorus mode. Just press and hold the footswitch to switch between them. When you start adjusting the knobs, begin with the Intensity knob. In Chorus mode, turning it will change how deep the sweeping effect is. In Vibrato mode, it modifies the pitch. After that, use the Speed knob. Turning it counter - clockwise gives slow sweep effects, and clockwise creates a fast, shimmery pulse. If you want to use Stereo input and output, grab a 1/4” TRS cable and select the Stereo mode. For firmware updates, connect the USB - C cable to your PC. While connected, hold the footswitch to boot - up the pedal and enter the DFU mode. Then use the DFU updater software to update. As for maintenance, keep it in a dry place away from extreme temperatures. Since it has low power consumption, you don't have to worry about high energy use. Just make sure to use the correct 9V DC power source with a negative tip, like the optional ACD - 006A adapter.
