Product Detail

The Nux Pulse Mini IR-Loader Guitar Effects Pedal is a small yet powerful device. It comes with 3 different modes - EG CAB, BS CAB, and AG IR. You can easily switch between these types by simply tapping the tap switch. Use it as a silent practice tool with a 1/8” phone jack at the end of your pedalboard or as a USB recording interface for your DAW. In EG CAB mode, it offers 8 electric guitar cabinet IRs like JZ120, DR112, etc. BS CAB mode provides 8 bass cabinet IRs such as AGL DB810, AMP SV810. And AG IR mode has 8 acoustic guitar IRs including G HBird EG Mag, G J15 EG Mag. It supports True-bypass and Buffer-bypass (Trails). Just hold the footswitch to boot up the pedal (without connecting USB), and the footswitch indicator will show the bypass status. It also supports Stereo input & output when using a 1/4” TRS plug and choosing Stereo mode. Key features include automatic support for WAV format, 24 slots of default IR types, 1024 samples real-time calculation, low power consumption, USB Audio Stream, and Firmware Update. The Pulse Editor allows for 3rd party IR loading and tweaking. Technical specs include an input impedance of 1M ohms, output impedance of 10k ohms, dynamic range of 103 dB, and more.

Using the Nux Pulse Mini is easy. First, power it on by connecting the 9V DC power supply. You can hold the footswitch to boot up the pedal without connecting the USB. The footswitch indicator will show if it's in True-bypass or Buffer-bypass mode. To switch between the EG CAB, BS CAB, and AG IR modes, just tap the tap switch. If you want to use it for silent practice, plug in your headphones using the 1/8” phone jack at the end of your pedalboard. For recording, connect it as a USB recording interface to your DAW. When using Stereo input & output, make sure to use a 1/4” TRS plug and select the Stereo mode. For loading 3rd party IRs or tweaking the IRs, use the Pulse Editor. Remember, when booting up the pedal, the FS indicator will show “Green” for BF and “Red” for TB. Keep the pedal in a dry and clean place to avoid damage. Also, make sure not to exceed the power requirements to prevent any malfunctions.
