Product Detail

The Lowell BC810-72 is a single, white 8-inch open beam speaker. It comes with a round enclosure and clamps for easy mounting on a beam or girder. The 8-inch driver (No. 810) is a 15W dual cone with a 15-watt RMS power rating and a 10 oz. ceramic magnet. The transformer (No. TLM - 572) is a wired dual voltage 70/25V one with taps at .25, .5, 1, 2, and 5W. The grille (No. WB - 8) is a round screw - mount steel one, 12.875 inches in diameter, with a white powder epoxy finish and white screws. The enclosure (No. 8XD4) has two beam clamps on top, a white powder epoxy finish, and externally accessible speaker leads that exit through a metal strain - relief clamp for quick installation.

Using this Lowell BC810 - 72 speaker is easy. First, find a suitable beam or girder where you want to place the speaker. Use the clamps on the enclosure to secure it firmly. Connect the speaker leads through the metal strain - relief clamp to your audio system. Make sure to choose the right voltage and power tap on the transformer according to your needs. When using, keep the speaker away from water and extreme temperatures. For maintenance, you can use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the grille and enclosure regularly. If you notice any unusual sounds or performance issues, check the connections and power settings. Don't try to open the speaker enclosure yourself as it may damage the internal components.
