The Klein Electronics Star K3 single-wire earpiece is designed for Kenwood PKT-23 radios. It features a clear, quick-disconnect audio tube and a clothing clip. You can choose a black tube if you like. When ordering the Star Quick-Disconnect (Star-QD) earpiece, a separate Quick-Disconnect adapter is required. It comes with an in-line PTT button and microphone, adjustable for left or right ear use, and includes eartips.
Using the Klein Electronics Star K3 earpiece is easy. First, connect the earpiece to your Kenwood PKT - 23 radio. If you're using the Star - QD earpiece, don't forget to attach the Quick - Disconnect adapter that you bought separately. Clip the earpiece to your clothing for convenience. Adjust the earpiece to fit your left or right ear as you prefer. When not in use, store it in a dry place to prevent damage. Clean the eartips regularly with a soft cloth to keep the sound clear. And make sure the audio tube doesn't get bent or kinked to maintain good audio quality.
