The Klein Electronics BodyGuard K1 Split Wire Earpiece is an adjustable earloop security kit that can be used with either the left or right ear. It comes with a PTT button and microphone combo, along with a steel clothing clip. The SMEP7 option is also available. If you order the BodyGuard Quick - Disconnect (BodyGuard - QD) earpiece, a separate Quick - Disconnect adapter is required. This earpiece is compatible with a wide range of radios from Blackbox, Kenwood, RELM, and HYT, including popular models like Kenwood's TK series, RELM's RPV and RP models, and HYT's TC620.
Using the Klein Electronics BodyGuard K1 Split Wire Earpiece is easy. First, adjust the earloop to fit your left or right ear comfortably. Clip the steel clothing clip to your clothes to keep the earpiece in place. Press the PTT button to talk when using the radio. When ordering the BodyGuard Quick - Disconnect earpiece, make sure to get the separate Quick - Disconnect adapter. Keep the earpiece clean by gently wiping it with a soft cloth.
