Product Detail

The Hughes & Kettner TriAmp Mark 3 is a 150-watt tube amplifier head that breaks all boundaries. With 30 years of tube amp know - how and engineering freedom, it offers a unique range of professional sounds. Each of its six independent channels represents a different tone era and can be routed to three tube power amps. You can combine power amps, merge their characters, and access up to 150 watts of tube power. Via MIDI, you can recall up to 128 sound setups at the touch of a button. It comes from the St. Wendel, Germany factory with two pairs of 6L6 and one pair of EL34 power tubes, and is compatible with other tube types too. The revised TSC System keeps your tubes in good condition. Technical specs include a switchable serial/parallel FX loop, multiple speaker outputs, and detailed power outputs for different tube combinations. It also has a MIDI board, various switching functions, and a Red Box for ambience emulation and balanced output.

Using the Hughes & Kettner TriAmp Mark 3 is a breeze. First, connect your guitar to the input. Then, choose the channel that suits your desired tone - each channel represents a different era of sound. You can combine power amps to customize your sound even more. To access different presets and settings, use the included MIDI board. When it comes to maintenance, keep an eye on the tubes. The TSC System helps keep them in good health, but it's still a good idea to check them regularly. Make sure to place the amplifier in a well - ventilated area to prevent overheating. Also, be careful when handling the amplifier as it's quite heavy. If you want to change the tubes, you can use different types like KT66s or 6550s, but always follow the manufacturer's instructions. Have fun creating your unique sound with this amazing amplifier!
