Product Detail

Introducing the Washburn D10SCE, your ultimate choice for an acoustic-electric guitar. This versatile dreadnought cutaway guitar offers top-notch features that only get better with age. A solid Sitka spruce top and Cathedral Peaked Scalloped-X bracing ensure outstanding sound quality. The mahogany back, sides, and neck provide a robust build, while the Ovangkol fingerboard and bridge, die-cast tuners, Washburn tortoise pick guard, and Washburn “Heritage” rosette add to its sleek look. With the cutaway design, reaching the upper frets is a breeze. It comes with a built-in premium Fishman Presys II 301T Tuner/Preamp, perfect for musicians on the move. No need to carry a separate tuner anymore. Just plug in and play. Ideal for strumming, blues, and bluegrass flat picking, it's a great performance instrument. The preamp gives you a natural amplified acoustic tone, with volume, bass, and treble controls, plus a phase switch for feedback control. Don't miss this acoustic gem!

Using the Washburn D10SCE is easy. First, tune the guitar using the die - cast tuners. You can also use the built - in Fishman Presys II 301T Tuner/Preamp for quick and accurate tuning. When you're ready to play, if you're performing on stage or want to amplify the sound, just plug it into an amplifier using the plug - in ready feature. For strumming, use your fingers or a pick. For blues or bluegrass flat picking, use a pick and practice different picking patterns. As for maintenance, keep the guitar in a dry and stable environment to prevent the wood from warping. Wipe the strings with a clean cloth after each use to remove sweat and dirt. Occasionally, check the tuners and the preamp to make sure they're working properly. If you're not using the guitar for a long time, loosen the strings slightly to relieve the tension on the neck.
