Product Detail

The Revelle REV500 Violin is an ideal step-up instrument offering reliable and consistent performance. Crafted from fine European wood, it produces a subtle yet powerful sound. The carefully seasoned European-select maple and spruce, along with aged tonewoods, give it a rich and powerful tone, making it perfect for advancing violinists seeking a reliable instrument with both nuanced and powerful capabilities. This full-size violin comes with a Despiau bridge, ebony fittings, Thomastik-Infeld Dominant Strings, and a Wittner-style tailpiece. It's also available as an outfit, which includes a quality carbon fiber Revelle Rook bow and a high-end foamcore oblong case. The durable case is of superior quality, covered in weather-grade black fabric. It has a full-size music pocket, optional shoulder and backpack straps, an accessory pocket, a bungee cord storage area for important items, and photo holder bands. Magic Rosin and a polishing cloth are also included!

Using the Revelle REV500 Violin is a breeze. First, take it out of the case carefully. Make sure to rosin the bow properly before playing. When you play, hold the violin under your chin gently and use your fingers to press the strings on the fingerboard. For a better sound, try to keep your hand steady. When it comes to maintenance, after each use, wipe the violin with the included polishing cloth to remove any rosin dust. Store the violin in the provided case to protect it from damage. If you're not going to use it for a long time, loosen the strings a bit to relieve the tension on the instrument. Also, keep the case in a dry and cool place to avoid any warping of the wood. And don't forget to re-rosin the bow regularly for a good sound quality.
