Product Detail

The Palmer PEABI isn't just a basic switcher for two sources. It's a versatile device that offers level adjustment for both microphone and line signals. Whether dealing with microphone or line signals, it silently toggles between the two inputs, allowing for quick and easy signal comparison. You can connect two sources to a single input with ease. Three slide switches give you control over attenuation, with 15 dB for input A and options of 6, 15, or 21 dB for input B. A ground lift switch gets rid of earth loop hum. Housed in a solid metal case with extended edges, it provides top - notch protection for inputs and outputs. A red LED clearly shows which input is active. Technical specs include: product type - switches; switching function - input switcher; 2 channels, 2 inputs and 1 output with XLR connectors; no transformer isolated outputs; controls like ground lift and input pad; channel number indicators; 9 V block operating voltage; sheet steel cabinet with powder - coated surface; dimensions of 100 mm width, 120 mm depth, 60 mm height; and a weight of 0.69 kg.

Using the Palmer PEABI is straightforward. First, connect your two sources to the two XLR inputs. You can choose between microphone or line signals. Then, use the slide switches to adjust the attenuation levels for input A and B according to your needs. The ground lift switch can be used if you notice any earth loop hum. The red LED will tell you which input is currently active. When it comes to maintenance, keep the device in a dry and clean place. Wipe the surface gently with a soft cloth. Avoid exposing it to extreme temperatures or humidity. As for power, make sure to use a 9 V block. Also, when handling the device, be careful not to damage the XLR connectors on the inputs and output. This will ensure the device works well for a long time.
