Product Detail

The Nektar SE25 is an outstanding solution for mobile music production setups. It's as wide as a laptop, fitting easily into your backpack. With 25 well - playing mini keys, six control buttons, and Nektar DAW Integration, it's far more powerful than it looks at first. The new velocity - sensitive mini - keybed allows for expressive playing with a firm feel, and you can choose from three velocity curves to match your style. The unique Part 2 feature lets you shift octaves, add harmony layers, or switch channels on - the - fly. Just press the '2' button, and when you release it, the SE25 goes back to its original settings. Six performance control buttons to the left of the keyboard are pre - assigned to functions like octave shift and transpose, but you can re - assign them according to your needs. The 'S' button can control either sustain or modulation. This MIDI controller works with any DAW or MIDI music software on OS X, Windows, and Apple iOS. It has a micro USB port, weighs 0.4 kgs, and measures 33.5 cm (L) x 10 cm (D) x 2.1 cm (H). Technical specs include 25 velocity - sensitive mini keys, 3 velocity curves, and more. It's USB class compliant, and different systems have specific requirements. In the box, you'll find the SE25 MIDI keyboard controller, a micro USB cable, a user guide, and a Bitwig licence card.

Using the Nektar SE25 is a breeze. First, connect it to your device via the micro USB cable. If you're using an Apple iOS device, you'll need a camera connection kit. Once connected, it's ready to go as it's USB class compliant and doesn't need a driver. When playing, use the 25 mini keys to express your musical ideas. You can adjust the feel of the keys by choosing one of the three velocity curves according to your playing style. To use the unique Part 2 feature, just press the '2' button. This lets you shift octaves, add harmony layers, or switch channels. When you release the button, it goes back to normal. The six control buttons on the left can be used for functions like octave shift and transpose. If you don't need transpose, you can assign those buttons to other functions. The 'S' button can control sustain or modulation. Remember, some functions like track or patch change require Nektar DAW Integration. As for maintenance, keep it clean and dry. Avoid exposing it to extreme temperatures or humidity. If you have any issues, refer to the user guide that comes in the box.
