Product Detail

The Korg Monotron DUO is an amazing portable analog synthesizer. Inspired by the theme of 'Go Anywhere Analog', it's battery - powered and palm - sized. This fun - to - play synthesizer now has two new siblings. It features a ribbon controller keyboard with new functions. With just 5 knobs and 1 switch, it's super easy to operate, offering hours of musical joy and exploration. Key features include two individually - tunable analog oscillators, an edgy X - MOD circuit from Korg's classic Mono/Poly, a ribbon controller keyboard with scale selection, an original analog filter from the classic MS - 10 & MS - 20, an aux input jack to apply the filter to any audio source, a built - in speaker for on - the - go sound, and a headphone jack for private use. Technical specs: It has 2 VCOs with X - Mod and 1 VCF, various switches and knobs for control, a ribbon controller, adjustable headphone volume, stereo jacks for aux input and headphone output, a miniature internal speaker (disabled when headphones are in use), runs on 2 AAA alkaline batteries with about 8 hours of battery life, and has dimensions of 120 mm x 72 mm x 28 mm (4.72” x 2.83” x 1.10”) and weighs 95g (3.35 oz) without batteries. It also comes with 2 AAA batteries for verification.

Using the Korg Monotron DUO is a breeze. First, insert two AAA alkaline batteries into the device. You can then turn it on using the standby switch. The ribbon controller keyboard is your main way to play music. You can select different scales using the scale select button. Adjust the pitch of the two VCOs with the VCO1 Pitch and VCO2 Pitch knobs. The X - MOD Int. knob can add an edgy effect to your sound. The VCF Cutoff and VCF Peak knobs let you shape the sound's tone. If you want to apply the filter to an external audio source, just plug it into the aux input jack. You can listen through the built - in speaker or use the headphone jack for private listening. Remember to turn off the device when not in use to save battery life. Also, when using the headphones, the built - in speaker will be disabled. For maintenance, keep the device in a dry and clean place. If the batteries run out, replace them with new AAA alkaline batteries. That's all you need to know to enjoy this awesome synthesizer.
