If you order the Star Quick - Disconnect (Star - QD) earpiece, a separately - sold Quick - Disconnect adapter is required. It has an in - line PTT button and microphone, is adjustable for left or right ear use, and comes with eartips. Compatible with Motorola XPR3300, XPR3300e, XPR3500, and XPR3500e models.
Using this earpiece is easy. First, make sure your Motorola XPR radio is turned off. Connect the earpiece to your radio. If you've ordered the Star Quick - Disconnect earpiece, attach the separately - sold Quick - Disconnect adapter first. Adjust the earpiece to fit your left or right ear as you like and insert the eartips into your ears. Then, turn on your radio and start using it. When not in use, keep the earpiece in a dry and clean place. Avoid exposing it to extreme temperatures or humidity. Clean the earpiece regularly with a soft, dry cloth.
