Product Detail

The Heil Sound Pro 7 is an aviation - style headset perfect for amateur radio use in noisy environments. Its specially designed foam - gel ear pads not only reduce outside noise by 26 dB but also offer outstanding comfort. As a true dual - channel, stereo headset, the Pro 7 Series comes with an audio balance control. This allows you to adjust the left earphone level to match the right. The unique phase - reversal switch helps you pick up weak signals easily. The latest Pro 7 version has a monitor jack, enabling a second operator to plug in headphones and listen to the audio. The low - distortion Dynamic HC - 7 microphone element has a frequency response from 100 Hz to 12 kHz. With properly balanced highs and lows, the traditional Heil speech articulation rise is centered at 2K - 4KHz. It has an impedance of 600 ohm and is great for clear speech. Key features include a large PTT switch, military - grade straight and coiled cables, an extra set of ear pads, and washable cotton ear pad covers. Technical specs cover generating elements (Dynamic iC | iC Electret), frequency response (100 Hz - 12 kHz | 35 Hz - 12 kHz), polar pattern (Cardioid | Cardioid), impedance (600 Ohms | 1.5 k ohms), output level (- 57 dB at 1 kHz | - 48dB at 1 kHz), weight (17 oz), and required adapter (AD - 1 Series | AD - 1 series with AD - 1 - iC included).

Using the Heil Sound PRO7 - ICBU Industrial Headset is straightforward. First, put on the headset and adjust the ear pads for a comfortable fit. Make sure the microphone is close to your mouth for clear audio. You can use the audio balance control to set the volume of the left and right earphones according to your preference. If you're having trouble hearing weak signals, use the phase - reversal switch. When a second person needs to listen, plug their headphones into the monitor jack. When it comes to maintenance, keep the headset clean. You can wash the cotton ear pad covers regularly. Avoid exposing the headset to extreme temperatures or moisture. Also, be careful with the cables to prevent damage. When not in use, store it in a dry and safe place.
