The heart of each Legacy Series combo is the Legacy preamp, which shares the DNA of the legendary 800RB. It offers GK's classic 4 band EQ, foot switchable overdrive with tone control, additional voicing filters like 'Bump', 'Contour', and 'Presence', Balanced DI with Pre and Post EQ, Effects Loop, Aux in, and Headphone output connections. These features are ideal for modern players and give GK its unique tone. The Legacy Combos come in various speaker configurations such as 1x12, 1x15, 2x10, 2x12, and 4x10, all equipped with Neodymium speakers made in GK's California factory. This allows players to choose the performance and portability they need. All Legacy combos have an 800 watt switch mode power amp, suitable for large stages and outdoor venues, and can operate from 100 to 240 volts. They're great for local jams, major tours, and everything in between. Using your Gallien - Krueger Legacy 112 amplifier is a breeze. First, plug it into a power source. The universal power feature allows you to use it with either 110 or 220 volts. Connect your bass guitar to the input. You can adjust the sound using the four - band active EQ to get the tone you like. If you want some extra edge, use the foot - switchable overdrive. The footswitch is included, and you can control the overdrive tone with 'Drive', 'Level', and 'Edge'. For additional sound shaping, use the 'Bump', 'Contour', and 'Presence' voicing filters. You can connect external effects using the Effects Loop, or use the Aux input to play along with other audio sources. The headphone output is great for private practice. When it comes to maintenance, keep the amplifier in a dry and clean place. Avoid exposing it to extreme temperatures or humidity. Clean the exterior regularly with a soft, dry cloth. Check the connections periodically to make sure they are secure. If you're not using the amplifier for a long time, unplug it from the power source. And remember, the circuit boards have gold - plated connectors, so handle them gently to avoid damage.
