Product Detail

The Flight Spirit EQ - A Concert African Mahogany Ukulele is like a free - spirited wild horse, untamed and full of energy. It's a concert - sized ukulele made of all - solid acacia wood from Flight Ukulele. This ukulele has unique features that make it stand out. The top sound hole is intricately designed, and there's a scalloped cutaway that allows for easy fret - playing without sacrificing volume and tone. The rosewood fingerboard has offset dots, and the headstock has a captivating shape. It's built to produce powerful percussion, great volume, and rich tone, and it comes with a pickup! The ukulele combines tradition with innovation. We use the highest - grade acacia wood, known for its punch, volume, and tone. The beautiful natural finish shows off the acacia grain perfectly. In 2020, the fretboard and bridge are made of rosewood, thanks to the modified CITIES restrictions on exotic woods. Before mid - 2020, some models had a tech ebony fretboard. The string - through bridge is a trendy feature that makes the top resonate better. We've chosen D’Addario strings for their popularity and great sound. The scalloped cutaway, a hit in our other models, is also here, showing the luthier's craftsmanship. The unique side sound port lets you enjoy the full tone of the ukulele, and it has an intricate design. The Double C1U active pickup, introduced in mid - 2020, sounds amazing and has controls under the sound hole. The new headstock is bold and light, sure to turn heads. It comes with a luxurious royal burgundy gig bag with 20mm padding for good protection. Key features include a concert body shape (19 frets), solid acacia top, back, and sides, rosewood bridge (tech ebony before mid - 2020), D’Addario strings, African mahogany neck, rosewood fretboard, bone nut and saddle, 36mm nut width, and more.

Using your Flight Spirit EQ - A Concert African Mahogany Ukulele is a breeze. First, tune your ukulele using the tuning pegs on the headstock. If you're new to the string - through bridge, don't worry. Just thread the strings through the holes in the top soundboard and follow the path to the bridge. Changing strings will get easier with practice. When you play, use the scalloped cutaway to reach the higher frets. The side sound port will let you enjoy the full sound of the ukulele. For the best sound, use the controls of the Double C1U active pickup under the sound hole. Now, for the care part. Keep your ukulele in the provided 20mm padded royal burgundy gig bag when not in use. This will protect it from bumps and scratches. Avoid exposing it to extreme temperatures and humidity, as this can damage the wood. Wipe the strings and body with a soft cloth after each use to keep it clean. And if you need to change the strings, check out our upcoming YouTube tutorial for a step - by - step guide.
