Product Detail

The Clear-Com FSII-BASE-II is an outstanding base station for the 1.9GHz and 2.4GHz wireless FreeSpeak II active transceivers and beltpacks. It comes with four 2-wire analog partyline connections, four 4-wire audio connections, and four digital displays with soft keys. This base station can handle a mix of up to 25 1.9GHz and/or 2.4GHz beltpacks on a single system. You can use it in Main Station mode with Talk and Call soft keys or as a Headset Station for easy communication and monitoring. The digital displays make system configuration a breeze, either directly from the base station or via the browser-based Core Configuration Manager tool. Key features include routing and configuring up to 25 FSII beltpacks, a browser-based configuration tool, four 2-wire ports with call signal and auto-nulling, four 4-wire ports with call signal, one dry contact relay, a multi-mode user interface, dedicated front panel keys, support for both 1.9GHz and 2.4GHz FSII beltpacks, and matrix and partyline configurations supporting up to 12 channels and/or groups.

Using the Clear-Com FSII-BASE-II is quite straightforward. First, connect your 1.9GHz or 2.4GHz beltpacks to the base station. You can use the digital displays on the base station or the browser-based Core Configuration Manager tool to set up the system. If you want to use it in Main Station mode, press the Talk and Call soft keys. As a Headset Station, it's great for communication and monitoring. When connecting the various ports, make sure to follow the technical specifications. For example, use the XLR-3F for partyline connections. Keep in mind that the base station supports up to 25 beltpacks on a single system. For maintenance, keep the base station in a clean and dry environment. Avoid exposing it to extreme temperatures. Check the connections regularly to ensure they are secure. If you have any issues with the programming, you can use the push-to-enter rotary encoder for editing. And always use the 12VDC external power supply as specified.
