Product Detail

Meet the Carl Martin Octa - Switch MK3 Guitar Pedal, a game - changer for guitarists with eight regularly - used effects pedals. No more clumsy footwork or accidental pedal - stepping! Inspired by big - stage digital controllers, this unit lets you effortlessly manage your effects. Plug all eight pedals into the true - bypass, impedance - free, gold - relay effect loops on the back, suitable for both new and old pedals. Use the eight DIP Bank switches to choose which effects to use simultaneously in each bank. Each used effect loop and bank has a blue LED, so you can clearly see which effects are active. The Octa - Switch MK3 comes with new features. The BYPASS switch on the left bypasses all eight pedals for pure amplifier sound. Two External Switching jacks allow for using two amplifiers or switching channels. After programming, protect the DIP switches with scotch or electrical tape. It has a switchable buffered Mono input, a stereo Output, and can be powered by dual 9v batteries or a regulated power supply like Carl Martin's PowerJack or Pro Power.

Using the Carl Martin Octa - Switch MK3 is easy. First, plug your eight effects pedals into the eight effect loops on the back of the unit. Then, use the numbered switches in each of the eight DIP Bank switches to select which effects you want to use together in each bank. Once you've set up a bank, when you step on it, the blue LEDs will show you which effects are active. The BYPASS switch on the left side can be used when you want to hear just the sound of your amplifier without any effects. You can also use the two External Switching jacks to connect two amplifiers or switch channels on your amps. After programming all the banks, it's a good idea to put a piece of scotch or electrical tape over each DIP switch. This will prevent accidental switching, damage, or any spills like beer. For power, you can use dual 9v batteries or a regulated power supply such as the PowerJack or Pro Power from Carl Martin. Keep the unit in a dry place and avoid dropping it to ensure it works well for a long time.
