Using your Yamaha ARIUS YDP-S34 digital piano is easy. First, find a stable and flat surface to place it. Connect it to a power source using the PA - 150B AC adapter. Once it's powered on, you can start exploring the various functions.
To play, simply sit at the piano and start pressing the keys. You can choose different touch responses like hard, medium, soft, or fixed to suit your playing style. The pedals add extra expression to your music. The damper pedal sustains the notes, the sostenuto pedal holds specific notes, and the soft pedal changes the volume and tone.
For those who want to learn, there are 10 demo songs and 50 piano preset songs to practice with. You can also record your own songs in the Standard MIDI File (SMF) Format 0. To do this, press the recording button and start playing. When you're done, press the stop button.
When it comes to maintenance, keep the piano clean. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the keys and the body. Avoid using harsh chemicals as they can damage the finish. If you're not using the piano for a long time, it's a good idea to turn it off to save power. Also, make sure to store it in a dry and cool place to prevent any damage to the internal components.
