Product Detail

The Walrus Eons Five-State Fuzz Guitar Effects Pedal is a powerhouse that can produce massively thick sounds to push any amp to its limits. With the Voltage (lightning bolt) knob, you can increase the voltage up to 18 volts for huge, open fuzz tones or reduce it to 3 volts for spatty, gated fuzz. Experiment with the Voltage and Mode knobs to discover a nearly endless range of fuzz styles, from vintage-inspired Woodstock sounds to chaotic three-chord punk rock. This pedal offers five distinct states: a well-rounded, compressed, and smooth traditional silicon clipping fuzz; a silicon clipping with added bass boost for a crunchy low end; a Germanium clipping that combines the feel of distortion and fuzz; an LED clipping with a slight high-end cut for a dynamically dark sound; and a hard clipping silicon transistors mode combined with LED and Silicon soft clipping diodes, the rowdiest mode with tons of gain. The Eons comes in a sandy tan enclosure with red, cream, and black ink, featuring a stoic four-horned Markhor goat illustration by Adam Forster. It requires a 9V DC, center negative power supply with a minimum of 100mA and measures 2.62 x 4.77 x 2.25 inches including knobs. It's recommended to use an isolated power supply and avoid daisy chain power supplies. The power supply is not included.

Using the Walrus Eons Five - State Fuzz Guitar Effects Pedal is easy. First, connect it to your guitar and amplifier. Plug in a 9V DC, center negative power supply (make sure it has a minimum of 100mA). To get different fuzz sounds, play around with the Voltage and Mode knobs. Turn the Voltage (lightning bolt) knob up to 18 volts for big, open fuzz, or down to 3 volts for a spatty, gated effect. You can find all sorts of cool tones, like vintage - style sounds or punk - rock vibes. When it comes to power, always use an isolated power supply. Don't use a daisy chain power supply as it might cause issues. The pedal doesn't come with a power supply, so you'll need to get one separately. To keep it in good shape, store it in a dry place and avoid knocking it around. If it gets dirty, you can use a soft, dry cloth to gently clean the surface.
