The Traynor YBA300 is an all-tube 300-watt bass head designed from scratch for working musicians. Built for top reliability in heavy touring, its designers know the importance of an amp that's always ready. It has an easy tube bias adjust with a clear LED display, so any player can adjust power tubes without worry. LED indicators at the back show tube status. If a tube fails, the amp locks out the problem tube and its partner, letting you finish the show on the other tubes. The LED display clearly shows which tube needs service. Using the Traynor YBA300 is straightforward. First, connect your bass to one of the 1/4-inch inputs depending on whether you have an active or passive bass. Then, plug in your external speakers using the 1/4-inch or Speakon connectors at the rear. You can adjust the tone using the gain, bass, sweep-mid, treble, and master controls. The deep, bright, and resonance switches give you more tone shaping options. If you want to use effects, connect your effects pedals to the effects loop. The tuner output is handy for tuning your bass. For tube bias adjustment, use the player-friendly individual bias adjust with indicator LEDs. When it comes to maintenance, keep an eye on the LED indicators at the back of the amp to check tube status. If an LED shows a problem, the amp will lock out the tube and its partner.
