Using the Nektar Impact LX Mini is a breeze. First, connect it to your computer via the provided micro USB cable. For iOS devices, you'll need an optional Apple Camera Kit. It's USB class compliant, so no driver is needed for most operating systems. To start controlling your DAW, install the Nektar DAW Integration package for your specific DAW. You can then use the 7 transport buttons to control essential tasks like play, pause, stop, and more. The joystick can be used for pitch bend and modulation, and the footswitch jack allows you to connect a sustain pedal. When using the keys, you can choose from 4 velocity curves and 3 fixed values to match your playing style. The 8 velocity - sensitive pads are great for creating beats. Assign notes to them in seconds and store them in 4 pad maps. The arpeggiator and note repeat engines let you create exciting synth and percussion lines.
