Product Detail

The Intelix USB-WP-C-series extenders are a great solution for transmitting USB signals. They can send low speed USB 1.0, 1.1, and 2.0 signals up to 330 feet, and full speed USB 1.0, 1.1, and 2.0 signals up to 100 feet via twisted pair cabling. Installed at a remote spot, the USB-WP-C connects peripherals to a host device. Key features include support for USB 2.0 full speed at 12Mbps and USB 1.1 legacy. It can handle up to 330 feet of cable lengths on U/UTP category 5/5e/6. Note that it's not for USB 2.0 high speed. It doesn't need external power as it uses the host device's 5V power. It offers USB 'A' female (client) to RJ45 jack connectivity. With a white Decora insert and a matching surround, it comes in almond, black, ivory, and white colors. A compatible host end is required.

Using this Intelix USB extender wall plate is easy. First, make sure you have a compatible host end. Then, install the wall plate at a remote location where you want to connect your peripherals to the host device. Connect the USB 'A' female (client) end of the wall plate to your peripheral, and use the RJ45 jack to connect it to the cable. Remember, this product doesn't support USB 2.0 high - speed signals, so use it for the appropriate low - and full - speed USB connections. Also, it doesn't need external power as it gets power from the host device. For maintenance, keep it clean and dry. Avoid exposing it to extreme temperatures or moisture. If you have any issues, check the connections first and make sure the host device is providing power properly.
