Product Detail

Peavey's legendary high - gain legacy lives on with the 6505 II tube head guitar amplifier. Just like its predecessor, it has two channels. But here's the upgrade: the 6505 II comes with separate EQ, Resonance, and Presence controls for each channel, giving you greater command and flexibility. The new footswitch allows you to control channel selection, the effects loop, and even choose the Crunch feature. With a simple foot tap, you can instantly get extra gain on the Rhythm Channel without taking your hand off the guitar. The Clean Channel has been revamped to sound super clean, with one 12AX7 dedicated to the Clean/Crunch. Key features include 120 watts of output power, six 12AX7 preamp and four 6L6GC power amp tubes, and much more for an amazing guitar - playing experience.

Using your Peavey 6505 II tube head guitar amplifier is a breeze. First, plug it into a power source using the universal AC input selector suitable for worldwide use. Connect your guitar to the input jack and your speakers to the speaker output jacks. Use the footswitch to easily switch between channels, activate the effects loop, and access the Crunch feature on the Rhythm Channel. Adjust the EQ, Resonance, and Presence controls on each channel to get your desired sound. For the best results, let the amplifier warm up for a few minutes before playing. When it comes to maintenance, keep the amplifier in a dry and clean place. Check the tubes regularly for any signs of damage. If you need to replace a tube, make sure to use the correct type (12AX7 for preamp and 6L6GC for power amp). Also, always turn off the standby power switch before unplugging the amplifier to protect it from power surges.
