Product Detail

In 2017, Brad Paisley found his dream guitar - an original 1968 Telecaster. Though it played great, it was refinished in black acrylic paint. He took it to Bill Crook, a pro luthier. When the thick black paint was removed, they were amazed to find Fender's original 1968 pink paisley finish! Brad named it La Brea as the hidden paint reminded him of Southern California's tar pits. While he loved most of La Brea, the pickups weren't right. So, he teamed up with Seymour W. Duncan to create the perfect vintage - accurate pickups: the Brad Paisley Signature La Brea Telecaster Set. The bridge model has alnico IV rod magnets, vintage - correct cloth push - back wire, a 7.44k vintage output, and classic grey forbon flatwork. It offers the open quality of vintage pickups and focused midrange from alnico IV magnets. The neck pickup uses alnico II rod magnets, has a 7.55k output, and the same period - correct wire and flatwork for a smooth, thick neck tone. Together, they deliver the snap and twang Brad is famous for, with a round top end and full yet tight lows. Hand - built in Santa Barbara, CA, you can now own this perfect set for your guitar.

Using these pickups is easy. Just install them on your Telecaster following the standard pickup installation process. Make sure the connections are secure. When using, you'll notice the great snap and twang right away. For the best sound, adjust your amp settings to match your playing style. As for maintenance, keep the pickups clean. You can use a soft, dry cloth to wipe them gently. Avoid exposing them to extreme temperatures or humidity as it might affect their performance. If you're not using the guitar for a long time, store it in a proper guitar case to protect the pickups.
