Product Detail

Upgrade your Telecaster with the Seymour Duncan 11202-14 Quarter Pound High-Output Humbucker Bridge Pickup. It offers a unique upper midrange growl and powerful drive. The custom overwound coil of the Quarter Pound for Tele Rhythm provides a strong midrange that stands out in any mix, without being overly bright or harsh. This makes it ideal for creating huge-sounding chords and full, fat lead tones. The Quarter Pound Tele Lead is our highest output Tele single coil. Its special high output coil with hand - polished ¼” diameter alnico 5 rod magnets produces a massive sound with a P90 - like growl. Leads will be more prominent and fatter, while chords will be rich in sparkly midrange harmonics. Both pickups are available in a tapped variation, allowing you to switch between vintage and high - output tones with a single Tele set. Hand - built in Santa Barbara, CA, using hand - polished ¼” diameter alnico 5 rod magnets and Forbon flatwork, and featuring a traditional deep - drawn chrome - plated Telecaster cover for the neck. Wax - potted for noise - free performance. Key Features: 6 strings, Bridge position.

Using your Seymour Duncan Quarter Pound High - Output Humbucker Bridge Pickup is easy. Just install it on your Telecaster in the bridge position. Make sure to connect the wires correctly according to your guitar's wiring setup. When using it, you can experiment with different amp settings to bring out the best of its upper midrange growl and high output. For a more vintage tone, you can use the tapped variation if you have it. As for maintenance, keep your pickup clean by gently wiping it with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid exposing it to extreme temperatures or moisture. If you notice any issues with the sound or connection, check the wiring first. If the problem persists, it's best to consult a professional guitar technician.
