The bridge pickup (RT) gives that classic chime without the harshness and has a rich low - end. When overdriven, it wails with incredible sustain and edge. The neck pickup (FT) has all the qualities you want from a front single - coil: clarity, warmth, and rich harmonic content that pairs perfectly with the back pickup. Using Alnico magnets with custom - engineered coils and windings, the T Set gives your sound fullness and a wider bandwidth, far beyond a typical Tele pickup. It's suitable for rock, country, blues, fusion, R&B, etc. And with our solderless wiring system, it's a breeze to install on your own. In the box, you'll find 1 25K volume pot, 1 25K tone pot, 1 stereo output jack, 1 3 - way selector switch and tip, 2 pickup cables, 2 connect cables, 1 output cable, and 1 battery cable.
Using the EMG T Set guitar pickup is easy. First, use the 3 - way selector switch to choose between the bridge pickup (RT) and the neck pickup (FT) according to your playing style. For a bright and punchy sound, the bridge pickup is a great choice. If you want a warmer and more mellow tone, switch to the neck pickup. Adjust the 25K volume and tone pots to fine - tune your sound. When installing, thanks to the solderless wiring system, you can do it on your own. Just connect the cables as shown in the wiring diagram included in the box. As for maintenance, keep your guitar and the pickup clean. Wipe it gently with a soft cloth after each use. Avoid exposing it to extreme temperatures and humidity. If you encounter any problems, check the battery cable to make sure the battery is properly connected. And always handle the cables carefully to prevent damage.
