Product Detail

The EMG FT Classic Neck Pickup for Telecasters brings a new look to the traditional Telecaster™ pickup. Despite its appearance, it offers the expected twang and punch, with outstanding clarity and definition, and no hum. The neck pickup gives a classic chime without harshness and a deep low - end. When overdriven, it produces powerful sustain and edge. Using Alnico magnets, a custom - engineered coil and winding, the FT enriches your sound and offers a wider frequency range than a standard Tele pickup. The package includes EMG's exclusive solderless install system: 1 25k volume pot, 1 25k tone pot, 1 battery bus, 1 stereo output jack, 1 two - pickup in/out bus, 1 pair of mounting screws and springs, 1 pickup cable, 2 connect cables, 1 output cable, and 1 battery cable.

Using the EMG FT Classic Neck Pickup for Telecasters is easy. First, install it using the included solderless install system. The volume and tone pots let you adjust the sound as you like. When you're playing, the pickup gives a clear, punchy sound with great low - end. For a more intense sound, push it into overdrive. Just remember to keep the battery in good condition, as it powers the pickup. And when you're not using the guitar, store it in a dry place to protect the pickup from damage. You don't need to do a lot of maintenance, but a quick check of the connections every once in a while can help keep it working well.
