Product Detail

In 2010, EMG Pickups launched the 57/66 Set. Now, after 10 years, they're releasing dual - mode versions of this very popular set. These pickups are a game - changer! With EMG’s exclusive three - coil design, you can switch between single and dual coil sounds easily. The 66 model fingerboard pickup has a well - loved humbucker design. When you select the single coil mode, it gives you a super smooth and fluid sound. It's a hybrid using both ceramic and alnico magnets, making the single - coil tone clear and powerful. The 57 neck pickup combines alnico and steel, delivering a rocking sound in both single and dual coil positions. The single - coil selection is seamless and smooth, and the high resonance ensures a crystal - clear tone. As an upgrade to the popular 57/66 Set, EMG has really taken it up a notch. The 57/66 TW Set comes with EMG’s solderless wiring harness. Each pickup has a push - pull potentiometer, and there are two standard tone controls to fit any setup. In the box, you'll find EMG's exclusive solderless install system. It includes 2 TW P/P switches with 25K pots, 2 25K tone controls, 1 stereo output jack, 1 two - pickup in/out buss, 1 battery buss, 2 pairs of mounting screws and springs, 1 16' TW pickup cable, 1 11' TW pickup cable, 4 connect cables, 1 output cable, and 1 battery cable.

Using your EMG 57/66 TW Set Dual Mode Guitar Pickups is a breeze. First, install the pickups using the included solderless install system. It comes with everything you need, like mounting screws, cables, and switches. Make sure to connect all the cables correctly according to the wiring diagram. When you're ready to play, use the push - pull potentiometer on each pickup to switch between single and dual coil sounds. This gives you different tones for different styles of music. For the best performance, keep your pickups clean. You can use a soft, dry cloth to wipe them down regularly. Avoid exposing them to extreme temperatures or moisture, as this can damage the internal components. Also, check the battery regularly if your pickups are battery - powered. Replace the battery when it starts to lose power to maintain the optimal sound quality. If you have any issues with the installation or the sound, refer to the user manual or contact EMG's customer support.
